Have you ever wondered where some of us MOSs got our strong, thick thighs and apple bottom bootys? Its those damn stairs. And the hills. Man, those hills. (Ok. And maybe lack of discipline around Chilkoot Cafe and Cyclery Lemon Scones.) Im not saying any of the aforementioned physical traits of a Stillwater mom are a bad thing. We embrace our meatiness and our curves. But dear God, heaving ourselves in to the backs of strollers up those mountains, schlepping diaper bags and mini two-wheels on our backs when the kids have decided two minutes in to a ride, that theyre done. Its one of the best (and hardest) workouts youll ever get. As if making it to top before your heart explodes wasnt motivating enough, NOW you can actually do it for a cause!!! The FIRST ever Stairs of Stillwater 5K WALK! (We LOVE walking! SO much easier than running.) You can give AND get a workout! Sunday Sept. 7th at 1pm beginning at Pioneer Park.
