Have you fully understood the terms of Gods Covenant, which was given to Abraham and his children? First lets read 1 Corinthians 2:16 for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ. The Meeting Of The Minds. - The Covenant - Definition of Meeting Of The Minds Anyone of you looking for a definition about Meeting of the minds will find that this expression means an agreement between parties in which each party is aware of the commitments that is being made by each individual. The expression Meeting of the minds, or consensus, is associated with contract law and is fundamental for the existence of a contract. If both parties to a contract make a mistake in the contracts creation, and may thus be agreeing to perform actions other than what both expected, there would not be a meeting of the minds. Then, when two parties reach to an agreement (contract) both have the same understanding of the terms of the agreement. Such mutual comprehension is essential to a valid contract. Other words used to define a contract are alliance, covenant, agreement, concord, convention, meeting of the minds, pact, treaty In other words, both parties must be on the same wavelenght (or same spirit) when they agree to a contract, from the beginning to the end, for each word, each period, commas and dots. Here is an example of what would look like to be on a different wavelenght: Sample of Agreement or Contract being on a different wavelenght For example, a business needing to resupply its inventory of toys and speaks with a local supplier. The businessman indicates that he is looking to buy the suppliers stock, which he takes to be the supply of toys that the supplier has. The supplier, however, thinks that the businessman is looking to buy out his business, hence his stock of shares. Because both parties are not agreeing to the same material exchange there is no meeting of the minds, and thus no agreement. Lets resume again: There would not be a meeting of the minds if the Buyer said, Ill buy all your stock, and he meant shares in a corporation, and the Seller said, Ill sell all my stock to you, and meant his cattle. Here is my point: As it is in the natural, so it is in the spiritual. If God made a Covenant with His people, both parties must be on the same spiritual wavelenght or mind. Otherwise, the outcome is exactly like there is no Covenant at all between both parties. Spiritual meeting of the minds, (your mind and the Mind of Christ) First I will speak of the contract, or if you like the Covenant or Agreement between God and His people. THE CONTRACT - THE COVENANT BETWEEN GOD AND HIS PEOPLE - Its purpose The purpose of the Covenant is the perfect restoration of communion between God and His people. Or, in other words: Complete Restoration of Spiritual Fellowship with the Lord, night and day. Jesus came and testified the purpose of his ministry. Matthew 18: 11 says For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. What was lost? Perfect Communion between God and His people. The Holiness and Perfection of Gods people was lost and God provided a perfect Lamb of sacrifice (Jesus) to restore which was lost. Actually, everyone is aware that God made an Alliance or Covenant with His people. Everyone has heard what was said in Hebrews 8:10, Hebrews 10:16, Jeremiah 31:33-34. But few understand the whole mind of this covenant behind the Covenant. Lets take Jeremiah 31:33 and see whats in the Mind of God. But this is the Covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. The Covenant: And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and Gods promise to Abraham belongs to you. If we believe that we are Abrahams seed, then Gods Covenant is ours, and its an Everlasting Covenant. Now we all know that any covenant always starts firstly in the mind, and when both parties agree all the terms and conditions with the same mind, as they trust each other about the covenant they made, then the covenant is a perpetual thought which cannot change until it is fulfilled. God gave to Abraham and his spiritual seed, an Everlasting Covenant, and this Covenant was sealed by God with an oath God made to Himself. When God created Adam, He created him in his own likeness, in his own image, (the mind of Adam was the same as the Mind of God) that is to say that Adam was a spiritual mirror in which the Mind of God could be reflected. When God wrote the terms and conditions of His Covenant with Abraham, Abraham was not consulted in the writing of the terms and conditions. This is why God said I will write My Law in their hearts and minds... (MY LAW : my emphasis) You see? God didnt say to Abraham : In order to honor my Covenant, your descendants will have to work out my LAW in their mind and their heart, and write themselves my LAW ...God said I will write, not you.... And this is where people fail to understand. The whole New Covenant is from the Mind of Christ. In fact, the purpose of the Covenant that God made with Abraham was to restore the original spiritual mirror that had been lost. Our holiness is Gods own Light in our spiritual mirror, and we cannot improve this Holiness, simply because it is not ours. Now, let me tell you that if God said I will put my law in their minds, that has exactly the same meaning as I brought earlier about the meeting of the minds, a contract between two parties. One party is God, and the other is His people (Spiritual Israel) The promises in the Covenant are all about the restoration of the mind of Gods people, which is supposely being the same as Gods Mind: The Mind of God is Holy. If the mind of God is Holy, then a genuine meeting of the minds should produce Holiness. Not mankinds holiness, but Gods own Holiness. God said: You will be Holy, because I am Holy. ... You shall be holy to me, for I the LORD am Holy and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be mine. Leviticus 20:26 .. so you may know that I am the LORD, who makes you Holy. Exodus 31: 13 The LAW of God - You shall be Holy, because I am Holy. In other words I will make you Holy from my own Holiness. This is not a human-made holiness, but an alien holiness. Gods own holiness. There is a divine LAW in heavens and this LAW is bound to the Covenant God made with His people. What is FAITH? Faith means fully understand rather than just believe. In other words, you must understand the whole Covenant. Genuine faith is just doing your part in the Agreement God made with Abraham and his seed. If you know that you belong to Abrahams seed, then you hold firmly to the Agreement God made with you. You keep the purpose of Jesus blood in your mind, and from His side (God) He keeps your Holiness in His Mind. Its a give and take Agreement that I called The Meeting of the Minds. You keep the thoughts of Jesus sacrifice and blood shed for you (in your mind) and from Gods side, He keeps your Righteousness and Holiness in His Mind. (God has a mind, which is His Spirit)... The Covenant said that the restoration, once fulfilled through the sacrifice and blood of Jesus was done forever, ONCE FOR ALL : From Hebrews 10:10 And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. (we have been made holy...once for all...my emphasis) and from Hebrews 10:14, it is said that : For by one sacrifice he (Christ) has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. (made perfect forever, my emphasis) Then any teaching which says that the Holiness and Righteousness granted to the believer is phased and progressive is wrong. First, the believer knows and is aware that God restored his Spiritual Condition to Perfection. This revelation is ONLY THE FOUNDATION, the rock on which the believer will start building. I am speaking of Gods own Perfection. I am speaking of Gods own Holiness. The believer is as holy and perfect in the mind of God, that Jesus himself. His holiness is equal to the one of Jesus. Who was redeemed by the blood of Jesus is equal with Jesus, in Gods mind. The Mind of Christ is Spirit, with the thoughts of God. Here are some thoughts from the Mind of Christ: Not only this Mind makes you Holy and Perfect before God, but we must also understand that the Mind of the Perpetual Covenant is an everlasting State of Mind in a perpetual/continuous sense, and is bound to the expression Everlasting Covenant, Perpetual Sacrifice. We the Saints are Holy, (Heb. 10:10) not from our self-worked out holiness, but from God’s own Holiness. Our own divinity depends of Jesus blood shed for us. Jesus was manifested as our elder brother, and he showed us all who we were, and as his brothers, we are being restored on the same level of Righteousness and Perfection.
