Hay House Farm has been hit by a plague of moles. These tiny, pretty little creatures come out of the RSPB woodland, adjacent to our land, and build pyramid sized mud hills. They cause havoc in the hay fields, as soil is not desirable in the hay. Last year, a local farmer friend, clearing moles on the fields nearby, caught an unbelievable 240 moles in a matter of a couple of weeks. You cannot imagine that so many of these little creatures are burying beneath your feet. We need to get rid of our moles, which is sad as they are really lovely but they cost us dearly by ruining our hay if we do not do something about them. Tonight, the guests at Hay House Farm are headed into the village to perform at the local karaoke in one of the local pubs. So, the Hay House Hellraisers are a coming!
