He is a miracle worker A Glencoe man miraculously survived an accident when his Toyota truck was hit by a train Friday morning. Joshua Paul Moore, 22, was taken to Gadsden Regional Medical Center by family members after walking away from his mangled truck. First responders said he had a few bruises and scratches, but he was going to the hospital as a precaution. About 11:41 a.m., he was driving on Keysburg Road toward U.S. Highway 431 when he stopped but didnt see the train coming. Glencoe Police Chief Jonathan Horton said Moore started to cross, and when he finally saw the train, he froze. The train hit the drivers side of his truck going about 25 mph. The truck began to be pushed off the side of the tracks. One of the front tires caught the track, and the truck rolled on its side and was pushed 528 feet before the train stopped. Horton said that when everyone got the call, they feared the worst. He said nobody expected to find what they did at the end of that train. “Hes got a lot to be thankful for because it was really fortunate,” Horton said. “Its an absolute miracle that he made it out of there like he did.”
