He is the Designer beginning with a capital letter, Philippe Starck needs no introduction – he is undoubtedly the world’s most admired living designer, architect and inventor. The businessman with a unique vision that always keeps him one step ahead. For four decades he has generously spread his imagination and designs across the design sphere, putting his exceptional mark on everything starting from toothbrushes, restaurants, motorbikes, sanitary ware… His masterpieces inspire me, drive me and moreover encourage to create! One of the inventors of the boutique hotel interior. Visiting the restaurants “touched” by Philippe is a journey through culture and invitation to creativity and excellence. Hopefully, soon all of us will get a chance to try something you have not previously associated with Philippe…. Recently, Louis Roederer launched Champagne’s inaugural non-malolactic, zero dosage vintage fizz in London. That is the brand’s first new product in 40 years, big time gap, though. The unveiled product called Louis Roederer Brut Nature 2006. Particularly interested fact about it, is Philippe Starck participation in creating a label for Roederer. Did you know that Philippe loves champagne? Particularly zero dosage one… Hence, while discussing the project, Philippe made clear that he would only want to be involved in designing package as long as he is involved “in the content’’ of the bottle. This story resulted in amazing final product. The packaging is kept simple, and as we all know – all ingenious is simple. Applause, Philippe! That is brilliant!
