Hebron, Abraham and his faith In April 2008, the Lord showed me - TopicsExpress

Hebron, Abraham and his faith In April 2008, the Lord showed me in a vision a place in Israel called Hebron, (which I still have not seen physically) that is an Arab village in the Israeli territory. I was captured in the Spirit and I saw many places in Israel, even if I was not there physically. I had a vision of a high place that springs milk from a nipple. This place would be called Hebron, I could see that a stronghold would retain the spiritual freedom of Israel from that place. I received three scriptures from the Holy Spirit, which I stored and showed as part of the Village of Hope & Justice Ministry first village project presentation in Rome, at an international conference, on the 8th of December 2009 at the presence of church leaders and Israeli government representatives. The scriptures show how important that place is of land that’s still in bondage, that was given to the Jews since the time of the patriarchs, kings of Israel, buried not far from there in Mamre where the promise land was given to Abraham and his descendents from God. The scriptures are the following: Judges Chapter 1:15-16; Judges Chapter 4:9; Judges Chapter 5:30-31. All the scriptures describe women used by God to conquer his territory in times of tremendous crisis. Just like the one we are living. The women described in these scriptures defended and fought for Israel and were mightily used by God to lead the armies, while no king was in charge of the land. Just like the time we are living, without a strong government representation in our nations, in a time where all the security plans are failing, in the end times, women are called to step out of the boat and position themselves to lead, guide, encourage the nations to bring the Word of salvation, deliverance and healing to them. Going back to Hebron then, I understood that praying for that small village to be delivered from the evil work, saved and healed from years and years of bondage in the darkness could deliver a powerful anointing to the rest of the territory of Israel and conquer the entire land. Also, I asked for women to be called to pray for Israel and its territory to be delivered. I am still praying for unity in the body of Christ to be praying together above all denominations and differences, to be united to pray for Israel. I also pray that a group of people will pray with me in unity for Hebron. There are many reasons why Hebron retains the Israeli inheritance and actually is one of the most dangerous places to live for Jews. Let step back and see what happened in this place many years before: In Hebron there are all the Israeli kings tombs, among others Abraham tomb, who is the patriarch of Israel. Not far from Hebron is a place called Mamre where the history of Israel began. Israel at the end of time shall retain these beautiful words from the Bible saying: And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.1 Corinthians 13:13 Let’s see why God has given us these words at the end of his scriptures and what is the meaning of them. Faith, Hope, Love 1 Corinthians 13:13 Faith : Hebrew 11:8-22 He who was called Abraham ... the call of Abraham to his country and his relatives to become the leader of the chosen people . Here too, the divine communication in the form of invitation and promise is the foundation of faith . The greatness of faith in God is absolute obedience of the patriarch . It was sacrificing his own plans for the future, his own preferences and comfort , his home and his family relationships , to serve a higher plan of God, and Abraham obeyed . Obedience: He obeyed without knowing where he was going , without having before him nothing visible , nothing is well known in terms of the new homeland. God says , Come in a country that I will show you , and he surrenders himself to the paternal guidance of God, If he says, Abraham did not know where he was going , but he knew exactly who he was and that was enough to the father of believers . Obedience is inseparable from the life of faith. Even the Christ learned obedience . (By faith) he sojourned in the land of promise, as [in the country ] not his own, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise. Hope: (Patience) Abraham’s faith is the faith of patience . Of course there was faith in the patient patriarch when he learned that he was the promised land Canaan Genesis 12:7 , he will be looked at with his flock , and although the country was occupied by the Canaanites and he shall possess a palm Hope: (Time) Acts 7:5, Abraham as well went wandering into it without trying to anticipate the times , waiting for God , in the time fixed by him , gave the land to his posterity . In this trust Abraham bought in Canaan his family tomb. Love: (Believe without seeing) Even when he had seen with his eyes the promised land , he does not lose his hope. A dwelling place on earth , not even a land flowing with milk and honey, and even those that were entirely at his disposal. (Believe without knowing) He believed that he would be the patriarch of his descendants. (touch the midst) Abraham met Jesus: His faith made visible the final fulfillment of Gods kingdom on earth. Looking ahead , beyond the visible and the imperfect , the faith of Abraham was invisible and perfect. He arrives in Canaan , he does not doubt that it is the time, the earthly homeland of his posterity, but does not consider it as the site of his true rest. (Place of Rest) There is for him and his imitators , Isaac and Jacob , something higher than a blessing land , in those divine promises : I will bless you . I am your shield and your great reward . Waiting for that something better, Abraham willingly accepts the nomadic life in Canaan , living in tents. Conclusion We all can have our place of rest when we fulfill the call God has given us, through obedience, faith, hope, love, he is giving us a place of rest at the end of our path. He is giving us grace to believe without seeing, believe without knowing, we can touch the midst in the heat of the day as Abraham did. How can we live all these things Abraham lived: Is there a key of faith? Is there a key of grace? Is there a key of love? Yes there is unconditional faith, grace and love in us through Christ. There is no work that can conquer these gifts from God except from His mercy. We can see Jesus as Abraham saw him in the heat of the day: The Three Visitors 1 The LORD appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day. Genesis 18:1 Abraham was sitting at the entrance of his tent, (the tent represents his faith, acceptance of living sacrifice, travelling all around, without any place to rest), no stability, no mortgage for a new house in Hebron, Abraham is sitting in the heat (he is sweating) and he sits under a tree that gives him a bit of rest from the heat of the day. How many of you have had a moment like this in your life, where our tent is burning in the heat of the day, there is no security, money, air conditioning, resting place to be in, and we have to sit out of the tent, because this is the only place we can be alone? Probably we don’t want to have our families around, no other than, silence. This is the time where God can step into our life, in the silence of our commiseration, weeping and sweating for the Lord to say something when we have no strength to resist. When we can say: ”God I can do no more!” Remember all cases God speaks to the characters of the Bible: When does God speak to Adam and Eve? In their silence for fear of judgment. When does God speak to Moses? When he is alone on a mountain, he admits his weaknesses of his speech. When does God speak to Jacob? When he finally limps and asks for God’s intervention. Joseph is in a pit crying after all his brothers have done to him. Elijah is in a cave all alone full of fears. Also Jesus listens to God when he is fulfilling the call through his death and he waits upon his Father’s intervention to be out of those circumstances. No one understands God’s mindset, it is not our call to understand his mind, but certainly is our call to fulfill his promises in us. Today, I was at the hospital with Clint. While waiting for our turn to be visited, many couples like us would come and go, as I saw them I felt compassion and prayed to be used from God to help and encourage these people facing very difficult circumstances. I was silent but my mind was not, God intervened in a way I could not imagine. I was listing to a couple talking about their various attempts to become pregnant and their travels and money spent upon doctors in every part of Italy. Suddenly, one of the two said he was from L’Aquila. I just said what we are starting there talking about the mobile college, as you know, it is a leadership and bible college on the road. I was surprised to know that this couple knew everything about the mobile college through the radio, also they could remember the words we said on the radio program, they live close to the mobile college where we are meant to start our classes at the beginning of November. We were so excited to know someone would know who we were and wanting to know about it, that we started a conversation that involved all the couples in the waiting room. The atmosphere changed in a way that many barriers were broken, people started talking. I went in deep into the conversation talking about traumas and I saw something that gave me the chance to pray, the guy I was talking to stopped talking and listened, then he went to sit. He said he needed fresh air. I understood he needed to breath from the pressure he was facing when something inside would come out. He did not want to talk and went to sit. Going back to Abraham, he was exactly at that place, Sarah was barren and he was sick and tired of discussions, in the tent, without security, no first born to give his inheritance to, no descendents. He was escaping from his tent, trying to grasp fresh air under the tree, alone where nothing could touch him. God is God and He comes when He wants, He knows how to pursue us. Abraham had no hope, he probably was so demoralized that his faith was at the edge, he lost his patience, he had no strength to resist at that pressure, just like the man I met this morning. He sat in a place of rest, out of his tent, in the heat of the day, he saw, because he could not listen anymore, but God could show himself through vision and surprised him once again, he looked up (asked for help) and saw…When is the last time you looked up for help in the middle of the bad circumstances? 2 Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground. God was there, nearby. Abraham hurried from the entrance of his tent, he hurried from the circumstances where he was, because he knew there was something for him, an answer from the Lord, and he bowed low to the ground. How can we bow low? We can bow low just if we have time, peace and Holy Spirit in us. So the sequence is this: he hurried to them and he bowed low, why does the scripture say that he hurried: what does it mean? He ran to the answer, when he got it he bowed low, it means he was captured by the holy spirit and bowed low. He sat, looked up, saw, hurried and bowed low. This is the position of each one of us facing circumstances in life, this is our life and reaction when God dwells in us, he comes at the right time, when we move from our place of depression, look up seeking for his help, see from his eyes, receive a glimpse of his love, run to the cross and bow down to thank God for all He has done for us. These is the sense of expectation I ask God to have all days of my life when facing bad circumstances, coming out from the place we are in, sit, look up and see what the Lord has made for us, hurry to his throne and bow low at the grown giving thanks. The scripture continues saying :”3 He said, If I have found favor in your eyes, my Lord, do not pass your servant by.” Have we asked for favor in our circumstances? Asking for favor opens doors that no one can close in our bad circumstances, when we pray in the middle of the storm, God gives us favor and opens doors for us that no others are able to pass through. This morning, while all people were complaining and talking about their circumstances I prayed: “Lord give us an answer, let us meet this doctor, give us favor and receive an answer, protect our hearts from bad answers, and lead us as you only can do, to the right person, to the right doctor, spending less time we can in your will, if this is not from you close all doors, if it is from you open doors no one can close! In Jesus Name, amen” We spent hours waiting for the doctor to come, many left, many argued, many said bad things about this and that method of medical intervention, we waited, waited, waited, we were the last people in the group, somebody said: ” they won’t call you anymore!” But the Lord is faithful: We were the last in the cue, the only ones which met the head of the department, we had an answer, a positive answer and praised God we had hope to hold on to, much love from the Lord to receive so much blessing in few minutes with the doctor, because God is faithful. He always answers to us when we ask Him to step in the circumstances, looking up for his intervention, seeing what he does, bowing at his throne to give Him praise. Genesis 18:4 Let a little water be brought, and then you may all wash your feet and rest under this tree. Abraham wished to bring water to the Lord, leaving Him washing his feet and rest under the tree. God shows himself to Abraham as well as Jesus will do many years after to his disciples, forgiving their sins and washing their feet submitting to the Holy Spirit. God Father, the Holy Spirit and Jesus are called to wash one another as well as the apostles will repeat the same actions many years after. Abraham asks God to stay with him, to dwell in that place under that tree and rest with him. For this, God prevents him to face Sodom destruction and Abraham stays at the presence of the Lord while the Angels go towards Sodom. Let stay in the presence of the Almighty while He sends angels which work for you…We need time for deliverance to be able to stay at His presence, we need time to bow and worship Him while He works for us! There is a Hebron in us to deliver and conquer for the Glory of God. Where is your Hebron, what is important to you, where is your heart? Where are you looking in the heat of the day? Are you looking up? Seeking God’s intervention? Where are you now respect to Hebron? Your heart desire to be delivered from evil works. God helps comes by can, you can do everything you are able to rescue, conquer and deliver Hebron, God is with you just like He was nearby Abram. You can have your victory today, look up, God is here, run to the throne, He has an answer you are waiting from long time, don’t be sat outside of the tent. You have to look up, move and bow on your knees to find God’s answer. With these questions in mind, come at the throne of God, ask for help, look up, hurry to the answer God has given you and bow at his feet. Today Hebron has been set free and your heart too.
