Helen Nester No bill of rights in Qld so the peoples rights are not protected so the attorney general can write whatever he wants. Certainly not helping the fact that after the election this newman government holds the majority so there is noone to object until it all gets the royal stamp of approval by the GG and there it is in parliament and then the little newman clan are having their little bills heard in the dead of night and only giving the opposition till 10 the next day to approve it.Which as I see it seems to be a mere formality it does not seem to matter because , well the majority rules. So that is how I see it as possible that this is happening. Other than that the absolute arrogance of this facist man seems to know no bounds. Anyone with an objection is crushed like a bug and the rest are sacked for no reason just so he can have his minions fill the positions that give him and his gang total and unchallenged control. I will not even be convinced that a change in government will do anything to abolish these laws. A bill of rights is what we need Australia wide so no man shall ever have so much power ever again. None of these laws has anything to do with bikies that was just something that seemed like a good idea cause they are a minority group to use as a smoke screen as all the other laws were slammed in at record speed never seen before. What can we do , indeed. Write letters , protest peacefully so as to not break their fragile laws. Write more letters until we get a bill of rights for all. Well I certainly dont know it all by any means. I live in Qld and I care about people. It is disgusting what this government has done and they all should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. The corruption is appalling. This is just how I see it all. For the disgrace that it is I have tried to understand at the same time just how is it possible for facism to be so openly and proudly delivered in this day and age and in Australia no less. For shame newman and co , shame!
