Hello All, I was running some training sessions at the recent Voyageur Council ScoutCon & AGM, and one of the excellent questions was how ScoutsTracker could ensure that communications with the youth were always two deep (as per SC policy). Consequently, Ive patched ScoutsTracker so that when you send an email, there must be at least one other leader email address in the To or Cc address lines (i.e., youth/parents must be able to see that another leader will also receive the email). To make sure that this doesnt represent any added inconvenience to you, Ive added the ability to optionally designate specific leader logins as being two-deep contacts. Then, whenever you compose a new email, all two-deep contact addresses will be automatically added to the emails Cc address line. Additionally, there are a couple of other miscellaneous enhancements and bug fixes (some of which already had been rolled out as patches). === Miscellaneous Enhancements === There is now a Cc line for you to use when composing emails In the Emails archive, the Bcc address line is now visible to any login that have the can send emails permission. This allows leaders to do a Reply and ensure it goes to the same people who received the original email. Of course, RECIPIENTS of emails still do not see Bcc addresses. Updated license logins received by GCs/ACs/CCs whenever someone redeems the Group/Area/Council section key now highlights the new sections. COLONY: the UK Programmes new Activity and Staged badges have been added. === Bug Fixes === * after looking a another persons login, you could no longer see the opt-in email permission checkboxes when editing your own login * youth/parent logins with can send emails couldnt actually see anything in the Emails archive * some leader logins were grandfathering permissions correctly * notification emails could have links that contained http, even coming from a secure access only account * the mobile/offline version was missing the login permission icons If you have any questions/suggestions/observations, please dont hesitate to contact me at [email protected].
