Hello CCians :) Im a 23 yrs old Egyptian girl whos been living outside Egypt most of my life. Ive moved to the gulf a couple of years ago. I recently started working in a place where I met this guy. I loved his personality, his humility and mannerism. I had a subtle crush on him but I never tried to get close to him and instead I kept saying this duaa اللهم لا تعلق قلبي بما ليس لي و اجعل لي فيما أحب نصيباً He was nice yet I couldnt tell if hes into me because hes nice to everyone and I didnt wanna get attached to him because attachments hurt and I already have trust issues when it comes to guys and relationships. To cut the long story short, a work colleague told me that he asked her about me he really likes me and he wants to propose but he told her not to tell me anything until he settles some work issues and then hell open up the subject with me. She told me that hes a great person and that hes very well-mannered. I was feeling ecstatic then 3 days later, she was like he might be into you because your familys rich and youre more well-off. I freaked out and I felt really confused. His parents are well known doctors but they come from a suburban area in Egypt. Work-wise he takes double my salary if not more. I dont know what to think? How can I tell if hes a opportunist? although I hate to say that because he doesnt seem like one at all. NB. this coworker is divorced recently and she kinda has a negative idea about everyone at work. I wonder if this is why she said so.. How can I tell?!
