Hello Chokliteers! I still have my arm in a sling and cant drive (or make much)so Ive been out doing my food shopping on foot a tiny bit at a time. It is keeping me fit walking into town and back with a few things in a bag and I am quite enjoying the enforced Christmas without a car. Just got back and the postman has been and brought super special loveliness today! Firstly the lovely Lyn addressed a parcel to Karin and the Weasels which got them completely overexcited and forgot all about lack of stars and baby weasus and the like and inside was a book about a panda and some toffees and decorations for the weasels. The toffees seem to have disappeared already. I never knew a pregnant weasel could run so fast.... Hmm. Oh actually shes a he and not pregnant. And now they are arguing that there was actually reindeer dancing round the stable honest there was and cant we please please.... Anyway, Thank you Lyn for sending a youre broken cheering up parcel. and then there is a lovely lady called Pam. You can find her over at Moonbrook Cottage Handspun - Pamela Thom Rowe and she makes the most lovely things over there and keeps bees. I think I am going to have to buy some of her wrist warmers. I was going to make my own after a certain Lady of Bears nicked mine and the last pair are too small as I got a bit carried away but I cant make them one handed (well thats my excuse anyway as I just want some) Anyway, Pam sends me little parcels of alpaca wool every so often just because. Always makes me smile and get excited about what to make and she is very kind to do so. Panda likes the parcel too as its so soft and hes crept in there for a nap. thank you lovely ladies for brightening up my day with surprises!
