Hello Class of 2004, While many classmates have purchased - TopicsExpress

Hello Class of 2004, While many classmates have purchased tickets, others have had some concerns prior to their purchase. One such concern has been the venue, Passions at the Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida. First and foremost, we assure you that Passions is primarily being used as a venue because of its amenities. The venue is rented out for our reunion guests ONLY, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will be setup in a manner that will allow our alumni to get the best experience from their reunion. By no means will the venue be operated as a night club other than background music. Furthermore, utilizing this venue allows ticket prices to be kept at a reasonable amount while providing guests a great atmosphere, food, and cocktails as described on our class reunion website: cb2004.reunited. We did scout other venues and found that a slight decrease in price drastically reduces the quality of the venue and what such a venue will offer. Likewise, in order to have the reunion at an elegant hotel, such as the Diplomat where we had our prom, a drastic increase for the price of the tickets would be necessary. That being said, the prom style reunions our parents had, like those we see on television, realistically do not occur these days. This is in part due to the economy and increase in costs, and also due to the fact that various school boards, such as Broward County School Board, do not allow reunions to be held on school property. We have already had a strong response to our initial unveiling of the reunion and greatly look forward to what will undoubtedly be an exciting night with fellow CBHS 2004 alumni. As always, if you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact any of the 2004 class officers who can be reached via email, CBHSclassof2004@gmail, or on Facebook.
