Hello Class of 86!!! So here are the notes from last nights casual dinner meeting at Sons of Italy: For our 30th Reunion, the group agreed that a casino would be a great fit for the venue. The group agreed that Pechanga or Morongo are good choices ... easy enough for people to book rooms and easy enough access from all 4 corners of the globe, (yes, we were thinking of our international buddies and no, we cant have it in China, Japan or even Singapore ... you know who Im referring to. LOL!) For our summer get together, here are our ideas: (Question ... should this be a friendly party?) THEME: Summer of 86, costumes unnecessary but big hair encouraged! VENUE: If our RSVPS come in under 50, well have our party at Sandra Bruni Shavers place in San Bernardino. If we are more than that, well find something else. POSSIBLE DATES: Sat. 7/26, Sat. 8/9 or Sat. 8/16, (Ill be sending out a link for a survey to see if we can get feedback from more of our group.) FOOD: We all agreed that we want Sandra Shaver to share her skills, (please cook for us!) But we dont want to burden her too much, just a little. So we are proposing the following, (Sandra, tell us how you feel about this): Sandra makes the main entrée Each person chips in $10-20 to cover her costs and for rental of tables/ chairs/ linens Each person BYOB Each person brings a side, (desserts, appetizers/ snacks, salads, misc. sides) MUSIC: 80s mix tape a la Pandora So what do you think?
