Hello Everyone! I want to let you all know that after 7 years the Happy Home Thai Cooking School will be raising its prices effective on the 1st of November 2014. We havent worked out the final numbers yet and would be interested in hearing any opinions, but we are narrowing down on 1250 baht per class with maybe a 50 baht market visit fee and a 50 baht pick-up fee. Since we started the school, food inflation has averaged around 6 percent per year, effectively increasing the main component of our costs by 50%. In addition to that, we have had a doubling in the cost of our helpers due to the introduction of a 300 baht/day minimum wage. This has all put on big squeeze on our margins. We do not take this action lightly and would like to make this change last another 7 years. Please let us know what you think of this change.
