Hello, I hope that you all had a great w-e. I had this reflection today... In my photography career, the one thing I’ve always found very intriguing is human interaction. Whether it’s that protective gaze a mum has over her child, the look of awe a groom has when he first sees his to-be bride or the contentment in the laughter of a child. These raw emotions are what I aim to capture. This is why, during my photo sessions, I always let my subjects have the freedom to do and move however they want. I made a Behind-The-Scenes video of a photo shoot I did of Danica and her son Kayden down at Bethells beach. When Danica shed a tear after seeing the video, I was touched because I’d fulfilled what I set out to do, I managed to capture a candid moment between mother and sun, depicting a true and genuine emotions. And that’s all I strive for.
