Hello! If you want an uncomfortable view into the misconceptions surrounding what it means to be a feminist, I highly recommend this YouTube videos comment section. Its quite painful, and shows exactly why gender equality needs to be fought for. Additionally, something I didnt realize on this scale but that is made abundantly clear here is that the feminist movement and what it means to be feminist needs to somehow be articulated to the general public in a much clearer way, because it seems nobody in this comment section knows what it means to be feminist. (Note: The actual video isnt the text Im interested in analyzing--just the comments. The blue shirted fellow in the video, Amir, only speaks in politically incorrect terms to his liberal-minded friend, Jake, which is where the humor of the CollegeHumor series stems from. Language and butt jokes abound for those who do watch it, though.)
