Hello, My younger sister Ayesha, she is 24yrs old now. Unfortunately in 2011, she had a fall from 2nd floor and broke her spine. She had lost complete sensation in her lower body. Since then she underwent 2 major surgeries and the most recent one was in early January 2014. Post surgery, the doctors say that they have given their best and the rest is fate. She still cant walk on her own, has a foot drop and to make it worse she has no sensation and control over urine and stool. She has been undergoing regular physiotherapy sessions for over 30 months now. Doctors advised her to undergo physiotherapy session in a rehab center in USA where the medical is highly advanced and also nerve regeneration therapy. There seems to be a ray of hope but, the expenses are way beyond our capacity.
