Hello.. We have had a few enquiries recently asking about our social and ethical position here at gorman. You may be interested to know that external audits are conducted on the factories that make our products. Details are attached to the links below. On a personal note, myself, and the gorman design and production team spend several months per year within our suppliers’ factories working alongside their staff to develop our product. We have chosen to work with a handful of suppliers, and have been working with most of these factories for over a decade. I highly value the immeasurable quality of time we spend with the staff, at all levels, on the factory floor, and I have built some lifelong relationships with the people of these businesses over the years. I believe that as a business, social and ethical responsibility needs to be addressed in both directions on a continual basis. Gorman supports organisations that align with our ethos, and that are dear to my heart, being friends of the earth, Tomorrows Foundation (India), and the Peter Mac and Leukaemia Foundations.
