Hello all...I have a question. I have a fairly large slider that is about 7-8 years old. We have a tank topper that we built ourselves that sits on top of her tank for basking. We have been using, for years, the zoo-med docking platform as a ramp so she can get up to the basking platform. Over the last six months she has started ripping it apart. We have gone through four of them, and now she has ripped the majority of her current one of. Since we use the largest size, I really dont want to just keep buying these so she can keep ripping them up. Any suggestions as to what might make a good ramp up to the platform? Thought about making one out of Plexi with a non-stick fabric, but it wont float thats one of the things that made the zoo-med things so good.
