Hello all! Last night around 11:00 or so, Craig had a temperature of 102.4. He took a cold shower and brought the temp down to 101.1. The on-call nurse care manager at CTCA we called told us to go to the local ER since we were 2 hours away from Tulsa. We arrived at NRH ER about midnight. At that time, his temp was 98/99 when nurse took it before taking him back to a room. They drew blood, took a chest x-ray, peed in a cup, took a cat scan, and drew blood for cultures. All came back negative. After the ER doc talked to CTCA, it was decided to admit Craig for observation until they find out if anything grows in his cultures and treat for infection. We left the ER area and arrived upstairs to his room close to 7 this morning...around 10 am, his temp was about 99/100. Hopefully, nothing grows on the cultures and his temperature can remain stable. If so, he will be discharged. Thanks for all your support and love! ~ Dao
