Hello all My father Eric Greenwood was 36yrs working at hammer25 the big hammer(that boomed through a silent night and literally shook the butchers next door by day lol) in dickies stamp works on Somerset rd and I was 4yrs working there before it sadly shut, but as usual I so wish I had taken photos or video footage at the time of the drop forge n hammers in operation with in it blasts n flame glory and work conditions that nobody could believe, was wondering if anyone in the group has any footage or photos? I tried YouTube, and for Drop Forge footage. Its all so modern with foil heat resistance suits and concrete oil free floors no where near the the same, There was none of that in Dickies!!!.
