Hello darlings, I’m probably not what comes to mind immediately when you think of athleticism (well, maybe just after Kobe) and honestly, it’s never been anything that I’m really that great at, but boy do I like to think that every time I pick up a racquet, I’m going to win. And by participating in the coastal challenge, a charity squash tournament that supports Portland Community Squash (PCS), not only am I winning, I’m giving the youth in Portland a better shot at winning. PCS is this amazing after school program that nurtures under-privileged kids in the Portland, Maine area. It’s a free program. A free program that not only teaches kids how to play squash, but also provides them with tutoring, study spaces, and most importantly I think, mentors that lead them through the crazy water that is adolescence with the goal of getting these kids into college and helping them succeed at all they want to do in life. So Im asking all of you who know someone who deserves a better shot to help me raise a little bit of cash to make some dreams come true. Theres a link below with a video that explains everything.
