Hello everyone, I want to start off by saying that I was BLOWN away by the amount of support Ive received from all of you after my last post. Its really a blessing to se how many people really care about you whether youve never met them or known them your whole life. The fact the more people commented encouraging words than liked the post is testimony to that. Each end every one of your prayers and words of encouragement have meant so much to me so I am truly grateful for everyones support. Heres an update on my surgery. When the doctor went in to my knee arthroscopicly he found that it was much worse than he had thought. Part of the bone had fallen off and was not in the best condition so he decided he needed to open up my knee to finish the surgery. The good news is that at the end of the surgery he was shocked by how well it went and was extremely pleased with the results. Im sure all your prayers had an impact on this! As far as recovery goes, Im feeling pretty well now and Im on some pain medication to take the pain away when it comes on. I wont be able to walk, drive or put pressure on my leg for 6 weeks so transportation to school and work and what not will be a bit of a challenge but my mom and dad are going to help chauffeur me around as best as they can. Please keep praying that the recover goes quickly and well and that the bone heals the right way so that more operations are needed. Thank you all again so much. More updates will be sent out as I hear more.
