Hello everyone, When I first went to visit the New Outlook - TopicsExpress

Hello everyone, When I first went to visit the New Outlook Centre Tanzania (NOCET), they operated a small nursery school and kindergarten for local children. There were only 5 children enrolled. As a result of your support, enrollment is now at 30 children. Half of these are fee paying and the other half are offered positions free of charge, as their parents are too poor to pay. The director of the orphanage contacted me recently and asked if Loose Change could possibly provide funding for four of these children to start their primary education next year. Jackline Moses, Amani Sweetbet, Sarah Julius and Emanuel Malole want to start school but their families dont have the money to pay the fees. All four children have done very well at kindergarten and are keen to start their formal education. Two of these children have been offered a place at the Centre from Monday to Friday as their parents cant afford to feed them adequately. The other two will be staying with their families. This is the reality for thousands of families in Tanzania, money goes on food first, then rent, and there is quite often nothing left over for medicine or education. And so the cycle of poverty continues. I need to raise extra funding to provide for the school fees and uniforms for these children. During this festive season, please consider the possibility of collecting loose change at your workplace, at a social function or within your family this Christmas. It really is just loose change I am asking for, you wont notice it but it will go towards providing the gift of education for these four children. Any money raised can be transferred directly into the Loose Change account: Name of Account: Sheryl Tracey Taylor Loose Change Account no: 457379621 BSB no: 193-879
