Hello, friends I apologize in advance if this is too far off-topic, but I dont know how else to reach a large number of Nazarenes so efficiently. I own a piece of rustic folk art that would be ideal for a retreat center or campground (or possibly a church or school that has a rustic fireside room or similar). Ive been rescuing / transporting / storing this heavy carving for 22 years, and would now like to find a permanent home for it. At this point Id be willing to give it away to a good home, and could even deliver it if youre in the Kansas City metro area. Otherwise, wed have to figure out how to transport it to your location. Ill attach a photo with my brother-in-law leaning against it to give you perspective on its size (48 tall, 45 wide, 2 thick). The six boards were hewn by hand, as were the carvings. Because of the shadows, you may not be able to see that the middle of the carving contains a Bible, a dove, and flames above the dove. Then theres the banner with holiness unto the Lord. This could be left rustic as it currently is, or someone--hopefully a skilled craftsman :-) could use wood filler to repair the imperfections.
