Hello friends, family and fans, The springtime is upon us and - TopicsExpress

Hello friends, family and fans, The springtime is upon us and after a very harsh winter, we are geared up to make some big changes in our lives as we are certain most of you are too. We have a big announcement to make but before we get to it we’d like to thank all of you for your years of support towards our goal as musicians and dreamers alike. As you all know, we have been going through a lot of change recently as individuals and as a group. We’ve grown and evolved together over the last seven years and as we evolved from the “rooster” to the phoenix, we, unknowingly at the time, set off a chain reaction that prompted some very amazing new opportunities for us all. With that said, it is our desire to inform you all that we will be very shortly ending this portion of our journey together as Night Phoenix. We’ve had an amazing journey over the last several years, so many memories, laughs, hardships, hurdles and successes. Too many to even begin to recount them all. You were all a part of it. Every single one of you and we can not thank you enough for our time together and for letting us do what we do. Music. So what’s next you’re asking? We are all very excited for the new possibilities and opportunities that have come our way and are grateful for the position we are in at the moment. Our drummer Jeff Peterson will be joining the Indianapolis power house dance party by the name of Cosby Sweater starting this next weekend in New York opening for Conspirator. Mike D will be performing solo with some brand new hard hitting dance beats whilst brandishing his guitar for an experience you will just have to see to believe. Alex is going to be taking some time to develop his new solo experience he calls electro-soul, along with some other projects he’s has had on the back burner for quite some time. And you will be able to see Scott slapping that funky-ass bass in a couple different projects with some other possible big announcement from him soon as well. We’ve traveled together and learned so much about ourselves and each other through all of this. There is always a chance you will see us perform on the same stage together again, or working together in some capacity, but as of now we are happy to be moving forward in our careers and life paths. Our final show is going to be at the Revival Festival at Harmony Park. Thank you, we love you all! ~Alex, Mike, Scott and Jeff
