Hello from the cold shores of Lake Huron! 11-11-13 Hey everyone how’s it going? This week was awesome! We had a ton of great things happen this week! First of all on Sunday after church and everything we had a fast for new investigators and Elder Everett was determined to find someone so we decide not to break our fast until we did! We went knocking on the old Air force base here in Oscoda and as we were knocking we found Cynthia and we started talking to her and invited her to learn more about the church. She said that she would like to! So that was awesome! Monday was normal Emailing, and shopping, then at six oclock the Scherbels invited us to their family home evening. We did that and had a great time with them. Later the West Branch Elders came to our House a we had tradeoffs. Elder Everett went to West Branch (Which was his last area he served in) with Elder Jensen and Elder Adams stayed in Oscoda with me! Tuesday Elder Adams and I started by working with the Record book we have and then we did some knocking to wrap up the day! Wednesday was our last district meeting of the transfer so after the meeting we took a few pictures and then we went to a Chinese restaurant called Kues in West Branch. We then headed out to Hale for the day. In Hale we did some more knocking and we talk to a lot of interesting people. Then we visited Brian and his family. We talk to them and his two daughters decided that they wanted to learn more about the Bible and the Book of Mormon so we will be officially teaching them very soon! Later we had dinner with Brother Steve Parent! Thursday was a little crazy it all started with waking up to 30 degree weather IN THE HOUSE! Turns out our furnace broke so we spent all our studies in the freezing cold. We then called a ton of people to try and get it fixed. We found out the part that is needed to be replaced; the replacement wouldnt be here till Monday! After all that we went to the YMCA and moved some rocks for them and while we were doing that it started SNOWING on us! So that was interesting. Later we had dinner with Brother Pack! Friday we were in Tawas for the day and we visited some members there and I had an ear checkup because I have been having some difficulty hearing and I found out that because of my sinus congestion my ears have gotten chalked full of wax so that was gross! Saturday was cool we had Stake Conference in Midland and Elder Golden Jr of the First Quorum of the Seventy and Elder Lansing from the Sixth Quorum were there so it was a great conference. I really enjoyed it! So in all this was a great week, besides the Snow and the VERY COLD weather, but I think I will survive for two years of it!
