Help to spread this fact with people you know: After particular seizure types, some people may be in a ‘postictal’ state. This means that theyre in an altered state of consciousness, and cannot control emotions such as anger, agitation, confusion, fear and memory loss. Unfortunately, there is still a lot of public misunderstanding about how a person may be after a seizure.
