Her Eyes Yesterday I met a goddess that spoke to me She asked me if I went to church because she felt I could show her the way to God I was surprised at her opening dialogue She was beautiful yet her conversation was different She was different She seemed as if she was toying with me and setting me up something I could not fathom I smiled as we talked wondering where she was trying to take me I was hearing her words yet it was her eyes that I realized were doing the talking Her Eyes Her Eyes were the doorway to what she was asking me for They spoke a language of their own yet I could understand them They, they were asking me to bare my soul They were saying that she chose me They were saying that if I could see heaven within her then I was the one she would marry Her Eyes Her Eyes were diamonds on a lake of pearls Shimmering like stars under a romantic moon on a warm summer night Her Eyes were telling me that she wanted to love me but I had to prove myself worthy of God, of her, of God I realized the moment that I looked into her eyes that They were one in the same She was creation and she created herself just to find me She was asking me an out of the blue question just to see if I was the one Her eyes did the talking as her mouth asked secondary questions just to see if I was listening to what her eyes were saying to my subconscious Her Eyes were beautiful and I was focused on the love that came from them She asked me for my number She said that she wanted to stay in touch I, aware of the moment, said only if she looked into my soul and could see herself She smiled and said that she did that 9 minutes ago Now give me the number she beckoned I complied She gave me hers and said, Ill see you in church Matthew I said ok as I watched her walk back into the club As the door closed and she disappeared I realized that she was more amazing than I thought... I never once told her my name!
