Her throat was dry and her limbs felt heavy, she still could not tell what time it was, nor how long she had been knocked out for, but one thing was certain, if she wasnt lost before, she was definitely lost now, but at least she escaped from those crazy animals, all that was left now was to escape this forest. Getting to her feet proved more of a challenge than she had thought, she was dizzy and her legs shook beneath her weight, the pace was slow but at least she could walk. Right, so the dead have to help themselves, I guess Ill go in search of a resting place she was convincing herself out loud that she was dead and what had happened was a delirium her brain had cooked up in a last effort to scare her back to life, she was having a hard time believing herself, she was in pain and you were not supposed to feel anything after death, but then again, she had never experienced death before so who was she to decide what happened after death and what it was like. It had been a while since she had started walking maybe an hour, but the vegetation began to change, lichen dangled from tree branches and roots sprouted from the round some towering above her in height. The air became boggy and humid, shit this is what she needed now, a frigging marsh hidden in the fog, how cliche could you get, she stopped and growled in frustration, just how much further was she going to have to go to get out of this place.
