Here I am complaining about Dannys missing lunchbox and I was nominated by Emmalyn Loeffler to count my blessings! Im adjusting my attitude. :) Here are a few: 1) Thankful for a great last day of summer today which included getting to meet my kids amazing teachers for this year, one last SUP ride and swim on this beautiful hot day at Winding Trails, and dinner with my wonderful children at Friendlys. 2) Thankful for an awesome God who is in control and gives me peace, even when life feels out of control and chaotic. He has a perfect plan and I trust Him. We were asked at church last Sunday - what/who do we lean on, truly? I want to always have the same answer... My God! 3) Thankful for the ability to say No to a few things recently and that as I get older and wiser it becomes easier to set boundaries so I can focus on what matters most. This got so much easier for me in my 40s. Hmmmm.... Meredith Miller Jobe and Debbie Mauro Sullivan you are next! :)
