Here is a prayer for an unknown friend. I send it out and trust that the Spirit will bring it to the right person. I am not sure who that is, but I know that somewhere out in this wide world, perhaps nearby or maybe on the other side of midnight, there is a human being in need of prayer. I know this because I have been there. I have had moments when I wondered if anyone cared. In times like that it would have been so good to know that someone was praying for me. So I send out my own prayers now to find an unknown friend. I hope you will join me. O God, give this blessing to whoever needs it most. Please let them know they are not alone. Amen.
