Here is a question for men and women... I believe a mans desire for an attractive woman is the same as a womans desire for financial security from a man. Both are superficial, but I feel women are penalized and quickly labelled as gold diggers if we pass up a good man because he is not financially stable. Meanwhile men get no criticism for passing up a good woman because she is not as attractive or fit as he would like. Lets agree that not all men and women want these things, but for the sake of discussion lets focus on those that do, ok? And, while there is a difference between beauty and ones financial status... consider this scientific research from a speed dating study: research confirms that, while humans may pride themselves on being highly evolved, men really do go for an attractive mate - though will make do with someone who falls somewhat short of this ideal - while women - apparently understanding this - adjust their desire for a high-quality mate according to how attractive they perceive themselves to be. In other words, beautiful women want rich men. Now, do you agree both are the same and why do you think that men get a pass?
