Here is a very sad story....rather than spend the money to help their poor dog after being hit by a car, a couple told Dr. Linda Mitchell of Rainbow Veterinary Clinic that it only cost $65 at the APL to euthanize your dog. Dr. Mitchell is listening to this as the poor dog stood there battered & bruised wagging his tail. She got the owners to sign over their dog to her and promptly called Cleveland Underdog Rescue for help. So we took him in after being treated at Rainbow Vet --- besides the various lacerations, scrapes, & bruises, he has a fractured pelvis. Not only did Dr. Mitchell save his life...she is also covering all of the medical expenses for Bow as in RainBOW:) He will be neutered as soon as he is feeling better (5-6 weeks). He is currently in a home with other dogs, but we are looking for a Foster without dogs during his recovery. If you know of anyone willing to foster Bow, please contact ASAP. He is 14 months old and weighs 50 pounds.
