Here is my boy Jordan, after 7 hours of sleep after surgery. Still not feeling great, but was able to eat 2 pieces of toast and a banana. (Sugar must have been low), but they are keeping a very close eye on his sugar. His hair is cut real short, but the shaved portion on the left side is about 4" wide x 7 or 8" long. He thought it was going to be smaler than that, so he was upset when they made a picture of it and showed it to him. There is no bandage, and he kept putting his fingers on it, so they took the picture and showed it to him so he would keep his fingers off of it. It is covered with titanium mesh, instead of the skull and the incision is closed with glue, no stitches. He will be able to shower as soon as he feels up to standing, to get the iodine and glue off. He was looking forward to a metal plate in his head, so he would set off the alarms at the airport. The titanium will not cause a problem, and he was upset about that. He is so funny, always keeping everyone laughing, even when he feels bad.
