Here is my long rant and take on the riots in Ferguson. If you are easily offended, just dont read it, if you read it and it offends you, feel free to unfriend me, cause Im about to say what most people wont: These riots are a great example of racism. African American people (in general) call for an end to racism, yet as a whole they can be the root of racism, and as a whole, can be, a very racist group. (but it is racist of me to say that of course). The facts of the case aside, why was this made a case of race in the first place? Yes, I get the officer was white and the dead man was black, but why should that matter? Whites kill whites, blacks kill blacks, blacks kill whites....no one riots, but when a white kills a black, its racist? People burn shops that have no connection to the event? How and why is that equal? How and why does that make sense? You want equality? Then protest over every death, not just the death of people that look like you. There was a cry for justice in the case? What is justice? The officer stood before a grand jury, he was brought to justice. The grand jury found that the officer was not in the wrong, you can disagree, that would be fine. But to believe that the officer was not indicted because he was white, thats racist.
