Here is some footage from our community picket on Lend Lease HQ today. Thank you and well done to all those involved. This morning around 50 community picketers blockaded the offices of Lend Lease, a major construction firm that is one of the front runners to win the East West Link contract. Aside from peacefully disrupting their business-as-usual, we also offered Lend Lease $8 billion in taxpayers money to leave town. Sadly they didnt take us up on our offer. Our picket today lasted from 7:15am - 10:15am. Despite what some Herald Sun readers think, our community picketers have jobs to get to and other responsibilities.
