Here is the circuit I was talking about earlier. This circuit uses a method, similar to what is used to control the speed of electric motors, to control the brightness of the LED using the slider switch on the left. May not seem like much, but this basic circuit will be expanded on to control a set of multicolor LEDs so I can make just about any color in the spectrum.
