Here is the video from the recent camera check. A few interesting things: people wonder, and often ask, if the flash of the camera bothers the animals. Here, we had a video camera placed next to the DSLR, so we can see Pepes reaction to the flash. He notices it, but it doesnt scare him. He goes back to sniffing and enjoying the catnip on the rock for a minute, then goes on his way. None of the scents we put out will lure a mountain lion in off their normal route. They will just make the lion pause for a few seconds so we can hopefully get a nice photo.
