Here it is the moment you have all been waiting for ... Thank you one and all for your patience - I know that a lot of you have been wondering what the big announcement is that we mentioned a few weeks back, and why the committee members have had smiles on their faces. It is with great pleasure and excitement that I can now announce that we have just signed a three year sponsorship deal with Banjos Bakery Lindisfarne. Banjos Bakery Lindisfarne are now the official annual Lindisfarne Junior Football Club Presentation dinner sponsors until the end of 2016. It is rare that you find a business, especially a small local business who is so invested in the community, the wellbeing of our children and junior football. During the negotiation period of this sponsorship, it became apparent that Banjos Bakery Lindisfarne and the Lindisfarne Junior Football Club share the same values, vision and focus. It is all about giving back to the community. As you may, or may not know, the Lindisfarne Junior Football club is the only junior football club in Southern Tasmania that holds an annual presentation dinner, let alone one that has over 600 in attendance. We are happy to advise that because of this generous donation we were also able to keep ticket prices at the same price that they have been in previous years. There are added benefits from this sponsorship for registered players. Details of this once all logistics are finalised. I cannot end without saying thank you to Andrew Slaidins, our Sponsorship Co-Ordinator. He came on board our committee this year and has worked tirelessly to gain this sponsorship. On behalf of the Committee and the Club as a whole, thank you. Im sure you will all agree, this is an awesome outcome.
