Here we are, NBA finals 2014. Epic series, really legendary teams, players and coaches involved. First we have the Spurs- an egoless international team of stars who play incredible strategic ball. Led by Coach Pop, widely, considered the greatest coach right now, Tim Duncan, considered the greatest power forward ever, Tony Parker, Manu, and various other roll players and young studs. This is a team that has been dominant for over a decade, and I would love to see these guys get another ring on their way out. If you like basketball, if you like team basketball, if you like ball movement, strategic play, crafty sets, you cant hate on the spurs. And then theres the Heat- led by the widely consdered greatest player on the planet, selfless passing point guard built like a power forward, Lebron James. This team is deep with top ten historical guards Dwyane Wade and Ray Allen. Chris Bosh and various other roll players round out this extremely unconventional team that totally concedes rebounds for speed in transition. Its amazing that this strategy works and we see it because of Erik Spoelstra- young, unconventional, unique background and coaching style that we or may not see again. Personally I have too much respect and admiration for both teams and individuals to really root for one over the other. Happy both these teams made it and rooting for a 7 game series devoid of injury. Go Spurs! Go Heat!
