Heres a very overdue update on one of my previous fosters that to this day my fiancé and I still talk about. Meet Lexi, previously Violet. She was a surrender from a puppy mill that exceeded the legal limit of 250 dogs in Ohio. Yes friends with strict guidelines you can house 250 dogs. Lexi was one of the few that got chosen to be surrendered. When I brought her to my house I just cried at the site of her. She was underweight, you could tell her diet was horrible because her hair was missing in places and felt like cardboard, she had no hair on both ears and were covered in scabs, and sadly you could tell she was one of the many that was a lifelong mom to so many puppies! We only had her a week and she knew pretty much right away she was safe, and LOVED the attention and her new found life. She gained noticeable weight the one week she was with us. I am forever grateful for her adopters because they were in love with her even looking rough on the edges! The first 2 pics are her the day she came into my home and the last pics are her with her new family. I still get updates from them with lots if pics and videos and I couldnt be happier with Lexis new forever home!
