Heres an interesting question that came up in a coaching call. Im working with a couple as they bring D/s into their relationship. One of the things they enjoy is having signals they can use with each other when in vanilla spaces to reinforce their dynamic without being visible to other people. We explored things like agreed-upon gestures and code phrases. For the dominant partner, its a bit easier since they can simply pick a term of endearment like sweetie or honey for this purpose. But we had trouble coming up with something equivalent for the submissive partner because they want something that shows respect, but that will still appear vanilla to observers. And words like sir or maam wont always be stealthy, depending on the context. They might just decide on a vanilla term of endearment and agree that for them, it has this connotation. But if they can find one that has a more D/s flavor, theyd be really happy. Any ideas? (heads up Zed, Alex, Pepper, Annalyn, Megan, Arden, Christina, TT, Thomas, Mankx, Destin, Jaiya, Andrea)
