Heres another issue with the giraffe riddle. OK, so it assumes you already heard the knock, youre already awake, and all of a sudden you are supposed to know whos at the door and what theyre there for. My question is, did you find this out by yelling through the door? I suppose that might be reasonable at 3am but how many people, recognizing their parents voices, would have opened the door already halfway through the conversation? If so, and after you open the door they say they are here for breakfast, God only knows what you are supposed to open then. *shrug* It was badly-worded. Nice gimmick though.
