PART 2 STARTS FROM 33.38 TO 43.30 Bruno asked them what have they done in the period since they were last there, and Piero said, that they did a lot of things, Piero said that they just came back from Miami, where they had won a prestigious award, which is considered like an Oscar for music, and it is called the Bill Board Awards, Piero said, Bruno remarked that Andrea Bocelli was also presented with a life time career award there, and Piero said yes, and that in fact they wer three Italians representing the Italian people there, Piero said, them, their friend Laura Pausisni, and Andrea Bocelli, Piero said that they were nominated twice, and that they won the category for the best album and artists of the year. Bruno, said that when they were still playing, Bocelli, and Laura pausini, although not very old, where already at the top, he asked the boys, if they had ever thought that they would one day be on the same stage with Bocelli and Pausini, in Miami, and they answered “No Never” to which Bruno turning to Gianluca, said, “ But him yes” remarking that Gian felt something positive in the air about that, and Gianluca answered, I did yes, but not because I think I am good, but because what I do makes me happy, I felt it, and that is the most important thing, to be happy, and now it is also my work, it is living, and doing what one likes to do, I believe is the dream of all of us, said Gian, this is the reality concluded Gianluca. Ignazio said, that he had only one thing to say, he said that, he was a person that does not get emotional very easily, and Bruno remarked that he was a tough guy, to which Ignazio said, well yes, Ignazio continued to say, that he does not cry very easily, but during that evening, I could not utter a word, Bruno here told Ignazio, that maybe he makes people cry, to which Gian said, that yes, he does when Ignazio sings, Bruno here said, that, No, and that Ignazio understood something else with that question, He makes them weep! Bruno said that he imagined that Ignazio used to eat a large piece of Pizza everytime it came out, to which Ignazio said (Cavoli) in Italian, which to translate would mean something like, You could say that again, in it’s meaning, Ignazio said that his mother started working at the Pizzeria in the 90’s, and he was born in 94, but they still have the pizzeria, and in fact his mother and sister are the owners. Bruno said VIVA LA PIZZA! HURRAY FOR THE PIZZA! Piero said, that his nonno discovered his voice, when he was about 5 or 6 year old, my father is a workman, and granddad used to help out financially, we are a family of five, I have an older brother, and a younger sister, and we could not always afford everything, thanks to my granddad, I started to take piano and singing lessons, so yes, before they were sacrifices, but now they have become responsibilities, because now we not playing anymore, now it is a real job, and we have to grow up, day after day, infact now we are abroad for 8 to 9 months away from Italy, but we still study, when we are back home, we take advantage of the time we have here, to study, Piero said, he said that they study in Bologna, with maestro Bertocchi, and Bruno asked him, if they did that together, and Piero said no, and that he studies with Bertocchi, and Gian has another Maestro, because Piero said Bertocchi, gives him formation, for lyric, and Piero said that he just loves Opera, Piero said that it is his world, he said he was born to do this, and it fascinates him, Bruno asked Piero what he would love to sing, if given a chance, and Piero said, that like every good Sicilian, he would answer La Cavaleri Rusticna, Piero said that there is Piece that he love very much, that of the shepherd, that Aria transmits a great emotion to me, I cannot describe the emotion I feel when I sing that, because it is not like the others, some songs transmit more emotions some less, but when I sing, ( E la Solita Storia del Pastore) ( The same story of every Shepherd) it goes like this Piero sang it, The poor young man, wanted to narrate but he always sleeps!
