Heres one of those feel good stories we just had to share. 2 years ago Ronnie and I was breaking down our booth at the Ag Expo in Moultrie, GA. As we were leaving, Ronnie found this money clip in the dirt parking lot outside the gate. It was inscribed and looked to be very sentimental. We did a little searching but was un-successful. Ronnie came across this again today and said,lets see if we can find this guy. After a GOOGLE search several things stood out. There is a guy with this name in Quitman, GA and his age would match the class inscription of 1952 so we gave it a shot. Low and behold the 1st call we made was the owner. Mr. Thomas was not there but his wife was. After I convinced her I was not a telemarketer or a scam, I began to explain that we found a money clip in Moultrie. She answered me mid-sentence with great excitement when I mentioned a money clip. Yes, Yes, Yes, thats his. Oh my goodness Praise the Lord. He has missed that so. It was very special to him and to this day he says, I sure wish I had that clip. She went on to say, you mean to tell me you have kept up with that thing for 2 years looking for the owner? She called us angles and was overjoyed and said, God is good many times. I mailed the clip today and she wants to try her best and keep the secret so that he checks the mail and finds it. She said, it will be so hard to keep my mouth shut but Im going to try. They are going to come see me at the show this year and I think we might have made a new set of friends. Strangers brought together by a homemade sliver dollar money clip inscribed 63 years ago. The clip contained $2.00 but the value was priceless. I love it when God shows up and shows off. Today is a happy day. Pay it forward.
