Heres something spooky. I was awakened this morning at 5:15a.m to the sound of my bedroom door opening. I felt something or someone sitting on the foot of my bed. So I rolled over thinking it was my lil girl messing with me. To my surprise it was my mom sitting there ,Marlboro in hand with ashes longer than the cigarette, in her favorite red outfit smiling at me. She said Im proud of you and What your doing. Ive always said when Im dead and gone family is all you got! And family you hold close no matter what! My kids, yall some stubborn ass kids, but you love one another and that makes me happy, everything will work out. Im watching all of you (and she gave me that Jannie Mae glare) and with that she walked out the room. I dont believe in ghost and those of you that know my up bringing know why. But I felt a little shook up and at peace at the same time! So ive been up since then outside of course lol. Thinking Wow, I wanna do a big cookout with all the family brothers sisters nieces great nieces nephews and grand kids just in memory of her and her legacy. So Im calling out all my family. .. Love all you guys to the moon and back
