Heres the clip from my Al Jazeera America appearance yesterday. We discussed the recent protests outside the Cardinals playoff game and at the St. Louis Symphony. We were tight on time. So, I didnt get to expound, and hope I didnt project some sort of false equivalence between the protesters and fans ugliness. Clearly the fans were disgraceful. But, protesters took the bait and sunk to their level. Im hoping someone influential emerges to school Michael Brown supporters in the art of demonstration and civil disobedience -- similar to training Civil Rights protesters received; its essential that we hear their important message and that they dont get lumped in with the ugliness of their adversaries.
