Heres the report from the Annual Conference. First the Bishop, by - TopicsExpress

Heres the report from the Annual Conference. First the Bishop, by law, has to send a letter to any sitting pastors, about 45 days before the beginning of the Annual Conference that they are going to be moved. You have to understand our church has a discipline with the rules of the church and Bishops have to adhere to the rules. So at this Annual Conference, since the new Bishop was elected just a few weeks ago, there was no time for letters to go out to inform pastors of a pending move. Now, if a pastor transfers, then a Bishop can place a pastor of his choice at that particular church. So, its very simple, there was only one pastor who transferred to the Mich. Wisconsin region, and a pastor from the Georgia Conference was sent to take his place. Therefore, by law, there can be no other openings unless a sitting pastor was to resign or die. So, that simply means, I will continue to serve wherever the Lord leads me or plants me. Even though my name was not read, in the hands of the elder, as Im sitting here typing this, my presiding elder walks in and when I asked her about the omission, she just told me it was an error. So, because the bishop cannot make any new appointments. I will serve and assist wherever the Lord wants to us me throughout our Zion and assist my presiding elder whenever possible. Thanks for the prayer Saints. Getting back on the road and heading home.
