Hey FB Fam, My latest blog post is very personal and I was inspired to write it due to my love and commitment to a better Haiti and also because as someone who has chosen to have a public life because of my career, I thought I needed to share my thoughts on this as someone who practices and encourages forgiveness. Especially, after a friend reached out to me last night concerning my views on the Haitian governments decision to have a national funeral for Jean-Claude Duvalier and I was reminded that I will not always share things that most will agree on. I will many times challenge, question, and share thought provoking things. And thats what I do. I practice spiritual activism. This is also my way of honoring and showing respect to all the victims that were murdered, tortured,and imprisoned during the Duvalier regime. Love and light to Haiti and the world!
