Hey FB: Great News! You know how Im always clogging your feed? Well, it was just announced today that I will be the new Director of a Volleyball Club here in the Southland. This means Ill be too busy to post my particular brand of nonsense,( at least not at the demonic rate youre used to seeing...) This promotion is the culmination of over 20 years of coaching and Assistant Directing. Having worked for other Club or School Athletic Directors, its now my turn to do Volleyball my way. I was fortunate to work with Westside Neighborhood School, American Martyrs School, St.John Fisher School, Crossroads School, Wildwood School, Bishop Montgomery HS, Rolling Hills Preparatory, West Torrance HS, Beach Cities Volleyball Club, Arroyo Volleyball Club & Los Angeles Premier Volleyball Club. All these institutions taught me so much, mostly that it truly takes a village to raise a child. I taught these institutions that growing & excelling can be a downright hilarious process, given the proper perspective. So, I guess theres no more Radio Free Rooney, no more monotonous pics of the PV peninsula, no more 11.11s, no more updates on DERBY COUNTY FC. :( Lastly, thank you to the younger generations who enable me to do what Im passionate about. It is your drive to be the best and lead fulfilled lives that keeps my energy levels so uncannily high at my advanced age. See you on the Volleyball Court. Cheers! Coach CD
